Alternative Dispute Resolutions – South Carolina Mediation

Mediations create an avenue for opposing parties to come to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) outside of a courtroom. Mediation is an excellent process to resolve disputes and facilitate discussions and negotiations between parties.

In mediation, the mediator serves as a neutral third party and serves as a facilitator between the parties.

The mediator facilitates discussions and negotiations in an effort to reach a resolution to the conflict, saving the time, money and stress of a trial.

Mediations are confidential and the parties decide the resolution, offering an excellent alternative to the courtroom.

Bill Killough’s education in the fields of engineering, business and law, as well as his business and legal experience, give him insight into, and understanding of, disputes in these areas.

Killough has represented clients in matters throughout the United States, in Europe, and in Asia. He became a licensed title insurance agent to assist his clients in business matters involving real estate. As a registered patent attorney he has prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications, and he has both mediated and litigated patent, trademark, copyright and licensing matters.
