For close to three decades Tony Nolte served as a business and financial executive, as well as in-house counsel at Shell Oil in Houston, Texas. At Shell he worked on joint ventures, co-branding, franchising, financings, contract development and review, compliance, and mergers, acquisitions and divestitures from both the business and the legal perspectives. He was also heavily involved with Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, Ethics and Compliance, and was the Financial Compliance and US Anti-Money Laundering officer at Shell. He followed his Shell career with roles as Head of Finance and Counsel for a PE backed international home décor company and next as CFO and General Counsel for a national mortgage company. Additional roles have included Fractional General Counsel for emerging companies in the FinTech and SaaS/AI industries.

Tony’s experience in viewing deals, not only from the C suite but also from the legal team’s perspective, provides him with the unique ability to view the big picture and the paths necessary to ensure compliance, move plans forward, and realize goals. He thrives on being a change agent in assisting companies to clarify their objectives and be a companion to growth.
